The tenth realm has been lost, and Akran’s hordes of devourers and ravagers have been loosed upon the lower realms, dealing the reclusive and powerful Imperium a serious blow. It will take Alva, the Imperium, the sects, clans, nations, and city states to band together as they did in times of old.

It’s time for everyone to put their war boots on and put their cultivation to use.

It's over and that's on

I had this book checked out on KU for ever and I was stuck about halfway through. While I overall loved the series, this last book was a chore for me to finish because it just didn't seem to matter all too much. There were so many characters that none of them felt 3D and the excitement from the earlier books was missing.

Lovely series, littered with typos

I hate to leave a 2* review for such a fun series, however all 12 books were plagued with typos, missing punctuation, keyboard slips, and more. Very immersion breaking and frustrating for me.

Despite that fact, this is a loud, satisfying, and action-packed conclusion to The Ten Realms series. I hope that one day the author will update the series with edited copies, as I'll happily read them again if it is no longer in a first-draft. Thanks!

Great!!

This was a great way to wrap up the series. I enjoyed reading it very much. Got bogged down in details about guns sometimes but that's understandable.

Epic "Star Wars" LitRPG Story Arc for Sale

Impressive effort in creating complete world. But the wordcrafting falls far short of allowing it to be called a masterwork.

Maybe the series was written with ambition to sell movie or TV series rights. If the author realized that he was wasn't going to be controlling the script.... Yeah I would not put more than minimum effort into details either knowing that in general books are usually unrecognizable in film except General plotline and key name. An attempt to imitate Star Wars success as easy to watch fare would also account for heavy use of familiar cliches and military tropes even after previously stating that magic made equipment obsolete above realm four. Use of modern military derived gear by main characters/Alva military will greatly decrease wardrobe costs. Chaotic mass attack magic is also a big money saver for scenes with extensive special effects -- nothing cheaper than fireworks effects that obscure lots of scene details by design. Good luck to the author seling rights of that was his intent. Good luck to us in the buyer producing at least watchable B-grade show.

Great read(s)

I just finished reading the last book (12 of them). The reads are fast paced with good (and logical) story lines. The author has done a great job building this fictional world out. Once you start be prepared to not put the books down. Oorah!
