Good story but not Michael's best

It's an entertaining story with some addictive points but some parts left me with a feeling of low credibility. I'll look into the second volume

Really enjoyed Emerilia and enjoying this too

Really great first book. I enjoyed the entire Emerilia series and I'm currently 4 books in to the 10 realms, the nice thing about Michael's series' is that each is a wildly different setting but all fall into that gamelit spectrum

This book grabbed my attention and kept it. It kinda sucks that some of the action chapters are so long when you're trying to get past the good part so you can get some sleep and the good part tales half an hour to finish LOL
