Series started off great then kind of dragged. I gave at at book 7 and jumped to this one. Ending very predictable and more like a mills and boone than should exist in this day and age.

The series needed a wrap up but this volume seems phoned end.
Later series are much more polished and should be read.

Loved it. I inhaled the series,book after book, over the last week in a half. Stayed up way past my bedtime. The series is based around a novel quirk what if what we think is reality is just the simulation, and the game is actual real?it is the Matrix on steroids. And I adore the author’s sense of humor. I laughed and cried, just a brilliant piece of work.
