The books peace themselves nicely..... However, there really isn't much mystery or secrets.... It's all just kinda thrown at you from the start. He missed a golden opportunity to lead us through Dave's discovery of being a bleeder from his pov. Still, that's just personal preference. Can't wait to read the next one!

Buy it! Every book is a good read and you'll have a great time. The characters are a bit flat, but the action and the world building are excellent!

Michael Chatfield really knows how to write amazing battle scenes filled with details without bogging down the flow of the scene.

Not happy with the close to 80 pages of character detail amounting to one character per page with only 2 to 6 lines of text as a character description. To me comes across as artificially fluffing the book page size.

Fantastic read! I absolutely loved it! I can not wait for the next one to be release! Such great characters in this book!
